Got out my Victoria’s Secret bikini today to tan and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so great in a bikini!

Bought a new scale that is 100x more accurate. I feel so much better about my weight loss now because I can tell much easier if I’m making a real difference. :3

Eugh. Unemployed and lazy… I can feel my body decay from laziness and financial anxiety.

I feel so ugly and unworthy of anything… it’s even difficult to volunteer in this town because everything is managed by a distant city.

*sings* abs abs I want a six pack of abs.

I’ve pulled a muscle in my leg I think… so running has been difficult. I’ve learned my lesson, so now I’ve begun stretching more before working out.

Fruit Salad½ cup papaya, diced½ cup mango, diced½ cup blueberries½ cup strawberries, diced½ cup kiwi, dicedjuice from one lime
In a large bowl, sift together flours, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder. Add coconut oil, agave and warm water and mix to form a large ball of dough.
Transfer the dough to a floured work surface and knead for 5 minutes. Cut the dough in half, and continue to cut each ball of dough in half until you have 16 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Do not add oil to the skillet as the tortillas need to be cooked on a dry surface.
On a floured surface, roll the dough into 16 circles about ¼ inch thick and 6 inches in diameter. Once the skillet is hot, add one round of dough and cook for 30 seconds per side. Place the cooked tortillas on a plate lined with a damp paper towel.
Continue this process until all 16 tortilla’s have been cooked.
To prepare the tacos, layer the fruit on a tortilla and sprinkle with lime juice. You can serve it as is or add any toppings of your choice.

I’m making the switch over to a fitspo blog. To me personally thinspo and being proana/mia are very different things. Thinspo is about becoming or staying slender in a world where McDonalds and Burger King are … well … king. To me, proana/mia = starving yourself to death. It seems that on this site thinspo and proana/mia are practically synonymous and that does not work for me.

Long time followers of this blog might know that several of my friends have been hospitalized and almost died from ana or mia illnesses. As summer approaches, the thinspo tag becomes increasingly associated with proana/mia or eating disorder tags and it’s starting to hurt me on an intense emotional level.

When I started this blog I was a little naive about what thinspo actually means for others apart from myself and I’m beginning to discover my place and my blog’s place is among those that wish to promote active and healthy lifestyles.

Lastly, I would like to request that any blogs that do promote anorexia or bulimia unfollow me. These are serious illnesses and the act of promoting them is disgusting.
